Cut off the frog's legs for fewer misses

Most frogs come with legs that are too long. Cut them to body size or slightly shorter. A frog with shorter legs is more compact and the pike will attack closer to the hooks. Simple, effective.

Fill the frog with water, longer casts, better control

Don't panic if your frog starts taking in water. In fact, spray a stream of water down its belly opening. It makes it heavier, more stable on floating vegetation, and can make it "swim" under the film of water. Plus, you'll launch it further.

Open the frog's hooks, but only a little!

If you see that you are missing too much, with the help of a patent, slightly open the double hooks outwards. Not too much, so as not to lose the weedless protection. Or use a trailer hook, this way you will reduce the rate of escaped pikes.
